Challenge Johnsonville turned to PHG for support in creating a retailer program to encourage consumers to fire up their grills, connect with friends, family and neighbors, and share some common ground over the big flavors of Johnsonville at their next cookout. The Great Summer Meat-Up was born. An omni-channel shopper program, The Great Summer Meat-Up helps activate and ladders up to Johnsonville’s national Keep it Juicy brand platform, and can be found online and in retail stores across the country. The program includes a co-branded partnership with TIKI, BIC and Charbroil.

The program celebrates the summer season and will drive sales through digital and in-store executions. In addition, a sweepstakes allows consumers to "spin to win" prizes from all four brands – including a year of free sausage from Johnsonville. Finally, a meat managers program was also created to encourage retailer participation, promotion and engagement.
