SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Catherine Cirabisi, social media coordinator at Pinckney Hugo Group, was honored at The Junior League of Syracuse’s Annual Dinner on Tuesday, June 11, and named the recipient of the “League Cup” award. The League Cup is presented annually to a member of The Junior League of Syracuse who has dedicated an extraordinary amount of volunteer time and effort both in The Junior League and in the community.
Cirabisi was recognized for her dedication to volunteering and active participation in the communications committee. In the past year, she has volunteered at numerous community events and programs, including ones to support Brighton Academy, The CNY Diaper Bank, Boys & Girls Clubs of Syracuse, PEACE, Inc., Rescue Mission, The Salvation Army, Samaritan Center and YWCA Syracuse & Onondaga County. As part of the communications committee, Cirabisi supports The Junior League of Syracuse’s communications efforts, including assisting with media relations, social media, event promotion and newsletter development. She was recently named vice president of the committee for the upcoming year.
Cirabisi has been a member of The Junior League of Syracuse since November 2022. The Junior League of Syracuse is a part of the Association of Junior League International, a nonprofit organization of women whose mission is to advance women’s leadership for meaningful community impact through volunteer action, collaboration and training. Made up of more than 200 members, The Junior League of Syracuse plays a significant role in enhancing the quality of life for women, children and families in Central New York.
This is the second year in a row that The League Cup has been awarded to a Pinckney Hugo Group team member. Last year, the award was presented to senior account manager Kimber Doolittle.
