The short answer? We're looking to keep a good thing going. An independently owned full-service marketing agency, Pinckney Hugo Group has grown consistently over the past 20 or so years.

We've created bigger and better work, added to our capabilities and expanded to serve a wider range of regional, national and international clients. Video Production Internship Program

Pinckney Hugo Group is a full-service marketing communications agency. We offer internships in video production at our office located at 760 West Genesee Street in Syracuse, NY.

The internship program is designed to provide students with an opportunity to learn about video production, advertising and marketing with our firm.

Eligibility

A candidate must be a graduate student, or an undergraduate student entering into, or currently in, their junior or senior year of undergraduate studies. Students from Central New York are preferred.

General Information

To get the most out of the internship experience, interns at Pinckney Hugo Group are expected to work the following:

  • Fall and Spring Semester: 2 to 3 half or full days per week
  • Summer: 25 hours a week from late May/early June through early/mid-August.

Interns do not receive pay, but may receive academic credit if an agreement is made between Pinckney Hugo Group and the intern’s college or university.

All interns are subject to the applicable Pinckney Hugo Group employee rules outlined in the employee handbook.

Application Procedures

Candidates must submit a cover letter, resume and samples of past or current video projects.

Intern must have basic knowledge of video editing programs such as Adobe Premiere or Final Cut Pro. Knowledge of Adobe After Effects, Photoshop and/or Illustrator a plus. Knowledge of professional video equipment preferred.
