Java Developer

Creative Department

Pinckney Hugo Group is seeking a Java developer/development group to assist the agency on a high profile Travel/Tourism project. The candidate should be able to show several work samples, including those that incorporate the use of a Java framework and interface with an Oracle driven database. Also a plus:

  • Experience modifying existing Java websites
  • Experience collaborating with creative agencies
  • Experience using JBOSS
  • Experience using Spring Framework
  • Experience using HQL – hibernate querying

The developer will work within an existing website (featuring an established content management system, database schema, search functionality and Google maps integration) to make changes as specified by our wireframe/prototype. Additions will include a blog and several new search forms/search result pages. PHG will produce the front-end (HTML/CSS/presentational-JavaScript). We anticipate the project to amount to 125-200 hours total of programming work.

If our experience working with the developer is positive, we will retain the developer’s services for additional projects.
