Job Description

The best way to know if a website or digital campaign is performing at its best? Bring in amazing, talented people with a passion for data, in-depth familiarity with Google Analytics, and the ability to work with HTML and JavaScript. That’s where you come in.

As a Web Analytics Strategist, you’ll help plan and implement data acquisition strategies and analyze and report on websites and digital campaigns of all sizes across a variety of clients and industries. And because not everyone is as smart as you, you’ll also be asked to articulate complex concepts in understandable ways, both internally and with clients.

Experience Required

  • Four-year degree required with concentrations in business, marketing, computer science, information technology or related field preferred
  • Two years of hands-on web analytics job experience preferred
  • One year of HTML experience preferred


  • Provide keyword research to inform campaigns as well as report on progress therein
  • Work with teams to develop data acquisition strategies (including KPIs and personas) for websites and individual campaigns to ensure their success
  • Report beyond key metrics; tell the full story using data
  • Proactively evaluate the performance of campaigns and recommend opportunities to improve targeting, messaging and user experience
  • Identify notable traffic patterns and determine their origin
  • Provide data and insight to assist with paid media tactics including search and display


  • In-depth familiarity with Google Analytics (Google Analytics IQ certification a major plus) as well as advanced implementation knowledge/experience
  • Ability to read and understand HTML and simple JavaScript
  • Great written and verbal communication and organizational skills are essential
  • Great sense of awareness and ability to think on your feet
  • Familiarity with web design principles is a major plus
  • Google Tag Manager, CMS, Google Ads, SEO (including Moz, SEMRush, etc.), CRMs, Microsoft Excel, email marketing experience a plus
